Patrick M. Kush, 76, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on July 6, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Casey and Virginia M. (Tindall) Kush. On September 24, 1966 he married Jeane Benninghoff who survives. Patrick is also survived by one daughter, Julie (Randy) Beckham of South Bend, Indiana, one son, Robert (Melissa) Kush of Cassopolis, Michigan, four grandchildren, Christopher Kush, Zac (Katie) Kush, Molly Kush and Olivia Beckham, four step grandchildren, Dustin (Lindsey) Beckham, Ryan (Amanda Beckham), Shannon Beckham and Dylan Beckham, four great grandchildren, Aiden, Brooklyn, Amelia and Lucas and one sister Cynthia Sult of Mishawaka, Indiana. Patrick was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School. He graduated from the South Bend College of Commerce in 1966. He founded and was the President of Tri-Valley Glass, Company, Inc. Patrick loved to fish, shoot pool, play cards and cook. He especially adored his grandchildren and the time they spent together. A visitation for Patrick will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at The Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm in the funeral home. Private burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Catholic School, 19657 Hildebrand St., South Bend, IN 46614 or The Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545 in Patrick’s honor.
