Mary Ann Lipinski, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 1, 2021 with her family at her side. MaryAnn was born October 27, 1935 in South Bend, to the late Peter and Helen (Ambroziak) Kazmierczak. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Peter Paul, Jr. and Thomas C. Kazmierczak. Left to cherish the memory of Mary Ann are her children, Robert A. (Karen) Lipinski, Richard A. (Candace) Lipinski, Rebecca A. (Joe) Kolo, Rachele A. (Dave) Arnold, Ronald A. (Jeannine) Lipinski; grandchildren, Devin (Kristin), Lyle (Theresa), Ryan, Kimberly (Brent), Sara (Keoki), Melissa, Joseph, Roman, John; great-grandchildren, Trevin, Kaia, Maddie, Kirra, Mason, Maeve, and Noa; sister-in-law, Marlene Kazmierczak; and sister, Alice (Mike) Boulanger. Mary Ann was a tutor for the South Bend Community School Corporation. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society at Saint Adalbert. Mary Ann also loved shopping. Once Mary Ann’s children were in school, she started working for the South Bend Community School Corporation as a Chapter One Tutor. Known as Mrs. L, Mary Ann enjoyed working with children, hoping to make a difference in their lives. She retired in 2013 with the intent to spend as much time with those she loved and it is what she did.
Visitation for MaryAnn will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Ceremony will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Center of Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545 or the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Northern Indiana, 922 E.
