SOUTH BEND - William D. Myszak Sr., 71, of Old Spanish Trail, died at 10:52 a.m. Monday in his home after an illness. Mr. Myszak retired in 1985 from Elkhart Electric Co. in sales. He was born Jan. 8, 1924, in South Bend. On Oct. 2, 1943, in South Bend, he married Shari Holland. She survives with a son, William D. Jr. of Lakeville; two grandchildren; and three brothers, Joseph and John, both of South Bend, and George of Statesville, N.C. He was a member of Calvary Temple and an Army veteran of World War II. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
