EDWARDSBURG - Services for Albert A. Winkel, 74, of 22932 U.S. Hwy. 12, who died Monday morning in St. Joseph;s Medical Center, South Bend, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Rev. Bill Remmel, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. He was born on Jan. 29, 1908, in South Bend, and lived here most of his life. On June 1, 1935, in South Bend, he married the former Antionette K. Crol, who survives. Other survivors are a son, Carl Winkel of South Bend; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Montgomery and Mrs. John (Clara) Fass, both of South Bend, and Mrs. John (Irene) Rankert of Walkerton; and a brother, Irvin Winkel of Niles.
