SOUTH BEND - Dorothy J. Hambidge, 91, passed away on Tuesday in Our Lady of Peace Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Craig E. Hambidge; two daughters, Mary Haggard and Jeanne Malone; four sons, William Hambidge, M.D., James Hambidge, M.D., Tim Hambidge and Richard Hambidge. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Friends may call from 3 until 7 p.m. Friday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m.

[N21493] As is obvious by the photo, my parent's wedding day June 27, 1942. They were married at St. Hedwig's . The wedding breakfast was held at the LaSalle hotel I believe. As was the custom in that era an afternoon reception was held at my Aunt Marion and Uncle Ted's home on West Washington St. where this photo was taken.
