SOUTH BEND - Ilene Sue Golden, 66, passed away at 5:07 pm, Friday, January 12, 2018 after complications from open heart surgery at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born September 30, 1951 to Jack Goyer and the late Rita Goyer. On July 8, 1979, Ilene married her best friend, Marc Golden. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Rouske (Rick) and Amy (Eric) Klein, both of Chicago; son, Michael (Heather) Golden of Indianapolis; one brother, Mark (Mindy) Goyer of Kalamazoo MI; and seven grandchildren: Benjamin and Jeremy Rouske; Easton, Nia and Melaney Klein; and Gretchen and Rex Golden. Ilene was loved by many and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a long time and faithful member of Sinai Synagogue. She will be dearly missed.Funeral services are tentatively scheduled to be held Monday at 1:00 PM at Sinai, 1102 E. LaSalle Ave., South Bend, IN 46617, with Rabbi Friedland from Sinai Synagogue officiating. Burial will follow at Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, Mishawaka.
