Married to Catharine Radecki

Walter Kitkowski, aged 74, of 602 La porte avenue, died at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday in his home after an illness of 10 months. He was born in South Bend June 25, 1875, and lived here all his life. On May 20, 1902, he was married in St. Hedwige's Catholic church to Miss Kate Radecki, who survives. He had been employed by the Studebaker corporation for 28 years until he became ill last September. Surviving besides the widow are three daughters. Mrs. Regina Cierzniak. Mrs. Tillie Burke and Mrs. Clementine Cegielski; a sister, Mrs. Stella Chmielewski and two grandchildren, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 6 p. m. today, in the Kaniewski & Son funeral chapel.
The funeral will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday In St. Stanislaus' Catholie church with Rev. Sigmund A. Jankowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish cemetery. Mr. Kitkowski was a member of the Star of Victory society No. S3. Polish National alliance, and Studebaker local No. 5 UAW-CIO.
