Mrs. Kate Kitkowski, 85, of 1051 N. Elliott St., died at 6:55 a.m. Sunday in the chronic illness ward of Healthwin Hospital. She was born on July 11, 1880, in South Bend. Her husband, Waller Kitkowski, died on July 5, 1949.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Regina Cierzniak, Mrs. Tillie Burke and Mrs. Clementine Cegielski, with whom she resided; two grand children; three great-grandchildren; a brother, David Radecki, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Adamski and Mrs. Veronica Thilman of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Rev. Sigmund A. Jankowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial wilI be in St. Joseph Cemetery. She was a member of Group 305, Poland Resurrected Society, Polish Women's Alliance. Rosaries will be recited in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today and Tuesday.
