MISHAWAKA - Dolores Marie Sorocco, 84, passed away early on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Mishawaka. Dolores was born on January 8, 1929 in South Bend as the daughter of Alex and Sophia (Hojia) Rzeszeswski. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rita Brook. On May 5, 1948 in South Bend, as the former Dolores Rzeszeswski she married Anthony Sorocco. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2005. Surviving are a son, Anthony "Tony" Sorocco Jr. of Osceola; a daughter, Nancy Sorocco of Mishawaka; four grandchildren, Ron, Tracy, Roger and Kim; and five great-grandchildren, Preston, Ila, Kyle, Sophia and Alex. Dolores worked on the Assembly Line at Burk Lift Industries for 18 years before she retired. Visitation for Dolores will be on Thursday, June 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m., in St. Bavo Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, South Bend.
