Tony J. Sorocco, 77, of Reddick, Mishawaka, passed away in his home at 7:20 a.m., Thursday, April 14. Tony was born on Feb. 18, 1928, in South Bend to the late Domnic and Margarite Sorocco. On May 5, 1948, in South Bend, he married the former Dolores Rzeszeswski, who survives; along with two children, Tony Sorocco Jr. of Osceola and Nancy Sorocco of Mishawaka; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Hojara, Betty De Roo, Angie "Angeline" Nowaczewski and Lucy Van De Walle and two brothers, William and Joseph Sorocco, all of South Bend. Tony worked for AM General for 20 years before he retired. He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Tony will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, April 17th in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 18th, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Contributions in memory of Tony can be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice. Editor: His death notice shows his name an Anthoy J. Sorocco.
