From the SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE, September 2, 1965, p. 45 :

Walter Kaminski, 77, of 23464 La Salle Ave., died at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital. He had been employed for 35 years at the Studebaker Corp., retiring in 1956. Born on April 13, 1888 in Poland, Mr. Kaminski came to South Bend 60 years ago from Buffalo, N.Y. His wife the former Clara Koszewski, died in 1931. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edward F. Nowak, Mrs. Casimir A. Budzinski, Mrs. Eddie Taberski and Mrs. Louis M. Ganus, all of South Bend; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandson and a sister, in Poland.
