Emma Mary Wroblewski
February 14, 1925 - September 2, 2018
South Bend - Emma Mary Wroblewski, 93, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 in her daughter’s home under Hospice Care. Emma was born February 14, 1925 in South Bend to the late Charles and Mary (Ambrus) Kovacs. On February 28, 1942, Emma married her loving husband of 70 years, Ben Wroblewski. He preceded her in death on September 10, 2012. She was also preceded in death by their son, Terry Wroblewski; grandson, Allen Lee Wroblewski; a brother, Steve Kovacs and 5 step-siblings. Survivors of Emma include her daughter, Linda Kiska; grandchildren, Ricky (Liana) Kiska, David (Emily) Kiska, Tina (Jeff) Roberts, and Troy Wroblewski; great-grandchildren, Airic S. Hurley, Joshua J. Hurley, Anthony S. Roberts, and Sarah Lynn Roberts; step-great-grandchildren, Brandon & Aaron Roberts; sisters, Ethel Benge and Dolly Mortell; and brothers, Gene (Francis) Kovacs, and Dick (Linda) Kovacs. Emma retired in 2002 from the South Bend Community School Corp. after 22 years of service. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Emma enjoyed needlepoint, painting, ceramics, crafts and reading. She loved her family very much. Being a grandma was her true passion, her grandchildren will always treasure their special weeks they stayed with her and how she spoiled them before sending them back to mom. Emma will be forever loved and greatly missed. Visitation will be 2:00pm - 8:00pm, Thursday, September 6, 2018 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary to be prayed at . A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00am Friday, September 7, 2018 in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, South Bend. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
