SOUTH BEND - Benny F. Wroblewski, 93, passed away at 6:30 am Monday, September 10, 2012, in the Golden Living Center, Fountainview. Benny was born April 4, 1919, to the late Frank and Hattie (Zalas) Wroblewski. Benny was also preceded in death by a son, Terry L. Wroblewski; grandson, Allen Lee Wroblewski; brothers, Casey and Richard Wroblewski; and sisters, Gertrude Lentch, Jenny Lawson and Virginia Gapinski. On February 28, 1942, Benny married Emma (Kovacs), who survives along with daughter, Linda (Jim) Kiska; grandchildren, David (Emily) Kiska, Ricky (Karen) Kiska, Tina (Jeff) Roberts and Troy Wroblewski; great-grandchildren, Airic and Joshua Hurley, Anthony Roberts and Sarah Lynn Roberts; sister, Theresa Marshall; seven step-great-grandsons and six step-great-great-granddaughters. Benny retired in 1984 after 43 years of service with The Mastic Corporation. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Benny was a collector of many "treasures"; he enjoyed going to the movies and loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren. He loved to putter around the house and was always on the move. Benny was a tinkerer and never knew a stranger. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm today, September 12, 2012, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 13, 2012, in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.

Visitation was Sept. 12th in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am today (Sept. 13th) in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum.
