SOUTH BEND - Services for Dorothy H. Lapp, 69, of Parkway Street, who died of natural causes at 1:30 p.m. Friday in her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
Mrs. Lapp retired after 30 years from Kuberski's Department Store. She was born Feb. 13, 1927, in South Bend. On July 11, 1970, as Dorothy Bikowski, she married Irvin Lapp. He survives with a daughter, Sharon Meller of South Bend; two grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Discavage of South Bend and Sister Paulita of Livonia, Mich.; and two brothers, Ray and Stanley Bikowski, both of South Bend. She was a member of Legion of Mary.
