GRAND HAVEN, MI - Sharon Ann Meller, 68, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Sharon was born March 1, 1950 in South Bend, to the late Irvin & Ann (Klebusits) Lapp. On April 22, 1972 Sharon married Michael B. Meller; he preceded her in death on March 2, 2003. Sharon was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Dorothy Lapp; and her father & mother-in-law, Benedict & Evelyn Meller. Sharon is survived by her sons, Anthony (Wendy) Meller & Gregory (Heather) Meller; grandchildren, Zachary Meller, Wesley Koch, Paige Meller & Jamie Meller; brother-in-law, Dave (Kim) Meller; and sisters-in-law, Sue (Doug) Kissinger & Ann (John) Knapik. Sharon lived in South Bend and Niles for most of her life. She worked at JC Penney's in sales. Sharon was a den leader in Cub Scouts. She enjoyed ceramics, playing cards, and going on cruises with her husband. Sharon was a very caring and loving mother, wife and grandmother. Most of her life was dedicated to spending time with her family. Visitation will be 12:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in ST. JOSEPH Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Ceremony will begin at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of North Ottawa Community, 18525 Woodland Ridge Dr., Spring Lake, MI 49456.
