Norma Jean Culp Amstutz, 85, passed from this life to be with Jesus on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Woodland Manor, Elkhart. Norma was born April 5, 1937 in Mishawaka and was adopted by Gladys Lucille Culp, who preceded her in death. Norma was a 1955 graduate of Mishawaka High School and former member of Michiana Community Church of God, Granger. She worked as a banking officer for more than 45 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of New Paris Missionary Church and was a volunteer receptionist many years for World Missionary Press. Norma enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with family. On September 16, 2000 she married Herbert Amstutz in Granger. He died July 18, 2021. She is survived by her step-children, Beth (Rick) Pletcher, Nappanee, Norman (Linda) Amstutz, New Paris, Kevin (Tonya) Amstutz, Syracuse, Philip (Anne) Amstutz, Milford and Keith (Nancy) Amstutz, Nappanee; and eight step-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, October 14, from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service, all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Hackney will officiate. Burial will follow at South Union Cemetery, Nappanee.
