SOUTH BEND - Dorothy A. Sapusek, 90, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015, at Healthwin. Dorothy was born October 28, 1925, in South Bend, to the late Arthur and Anna Temple. Dorothy married Mike Sapusek, who preceded her in death on July 27, 2009. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her son, Ron Sapusek of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and her sister, Phyllis Hoover. Survivors of Dorothy include her son, Michael and Judy Sapusek of Hobe Sound, FL; daughter-in-law, Pat Sapusek of Ft. Wayne, IN; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is Eugene Olszewski, her companion for over 40 years, and his family, Sandy, Jeff & Debbie, including their children and nieces and nephews, whom she welcomed with open arms as part of her family. She was the only grandma that most of the extended family knew. Dorothy retired from G.L. Perry's Variety Store with 20+ years of service. Dorothy was a wonderful mother, grandmother and partner. She loved to play cards, dance, and was an avid seamstress. She also loved to bake and decorate during the holidays. She was always there for her family and extended family and grandkids. She will be missed by all.
