[N8994] Richard Lee Halterman was born in 1928 at Mishawaka, Indiana, the son of Harold Deverl and Lucile Turnipseed Halterman. He married Joan Josephine Wasielewski in 1951 at Mishawaka. They had two children, 1953-1954. Harold Deverl Halterman was born in 1906 at Rochester, Fulton County, Indiana, the son of Benjamin Halterman (1878-1955) and Pearl Idella Gray Halterman (1883-1933). He married Lucile Turnipseed in 1927 at South Bend, Indiana. He died in 1959 at Mishawaka, Indiana. Lucile Turnipseed was born in 1908 in Miami County, Indiana, the daughter of Guy Arthur Turnipseed (1887-1964) and Zella Maude Maus Turnipseed (1887-1969). She died in 1978 at Elkhart, Indiana.
