MISHAWAKA - Kathy Jo Drudge, age 61, of Mishawaka, died Thursday, September 10, 2015, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a brief illness. She was born July 27, 1954, in Mishawaka, to Richard and Joan (Wasielewski) Halterman. She married Bruce Drudge August 27, 1983. Kathy was a graduate of Mishawaka High School and Indiana University. Mrs. Drudge had worked at HR Imaging as a photo assistant. She had previously worked in advertising and sales at the South Bend Tribune. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her children and granddaughter, Rowan. She was a big IU fan and loved animals, especially her dog Barkley. Surviving are her husband, Bruce; children, Natalie (Scott) Stewart, Slidell, LA, Alexander Drudge, Indianapolis, Brandon Drudge, Kansas City, MO, Katelyn Drudge, Bloomington; a granddaughter, Rowan Ayres; parents, Richard & Joan Halterman, South Bend; brother, Gary Halterman, Watertown, WI; mother-in-law, Neva (Stickel) Drudge, Goshen; brother-in-law, Dennis Drudge, Goshen. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Larry Drudge. Family and friends may call from 4-8 Tuesday, Sept. 15th, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, Sept. 16th, at the funeral home. Rev. Rick Taylor will officiate. Burial will be at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Pet Refuge of St. Joseph County.
