Audrey M. Sobecki, 88, of Mishawaka passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.Audrey was born on December 6, 1933, in Mishawaka to Jerome and Eva (Pletcher) DeWeirdt. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jerome and Eva (Pletcher) DeWeirdt and her siblings, Germaine DeWispelaere, Evelyn DeWeirdt, Leona Burkus and Robert DeWeirdt. On June 5, 1954, in South Bend as the former Audrey DeWeirdt, she married Ervin J. Sobecki, he preceded her in death on January 2, 2012. Surviving Audrey are her children, Ronald (Donna) Sobecki of Greenwood, Indiana and Kirk (Deanna) Sobecki of Bremen, Indiana; her grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, Nicholas, Christopher and Emily; and great grandchildren, Scarlett, Piper and Alexander. Audrey worked as an operation clerk for Ameritech for 40 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka and the BK Club Ladies Auxiliary. We would like to thank Signature Healthcare of Bremen for being her second family and taking good care of her for the last two years. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 6th, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, Indiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on December 6th at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, Father Christopher Lapp will be officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.Memorial Contributions can be made in Audrey’s name to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S.
