Elizabeth “Liz“ Ann Krieg, 85 years old, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Culver City, CA. Liz was born on July 9, 1937 to the late Jack Krieg and Elizabeth A. (Egyed) Krieg. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Jack L. Krieg; nephew, Bruce A. Krieg; and her beloved cat, Kitty, Kitty. Left to cherish their memory of Liz is her, nephew, Brian L. (Kathie) Krieg; niece, Felicia (John) Buda; sister-in-law, Shirley Ann Krieg; great nieces & nephews, Melissa (Matt) Jones, Brent (fiancée: Nicole) Krieg, Robert (Shealynn) Krieg, Zachary (Samantha) Krieg, Sarah Kruk, Chelsea (fiancé: Anthony) Kruk; and 13 great nieces & nephews. Liz graduated with her Bachelors from Notre Dame and went on to get her Masters in Education from the University of New York. She was a teacher and principal for most of her life and loved every moment of it. She loved to travel, go to the casino, and her beloved cats. Friends and family will be received at 12:00pm Sunday, March 12, 2023 at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S Mayflower Rd. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm that Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will occur at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Donations in honor of Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Krieg may be made out to Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
