PLYMOUTH, IN - Services for Mrs. Gladys M. Chase, 79, of 216 Klinger Ave., who died Thursday night in St. Vincent Hospital of Indianapolis, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Michael's Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Richard Ohlemacher will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Johnson Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. . She was born on June 19, 1903, in South Bend. She lived in Marshall County since 1944, after coming from South Bend. She married Vincent Michalski, who died on Jan. 19, 1941. In October 1944, in South Bend, she married Lorie M. Chase. He died on Nov. 8, 1972. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Esther Lord of Dallas, Tex.; a son, Robert Michalski of Plymouth; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Geraldine Barnes of Niles; two stepsons, George Chase of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Neil Chase of Culver; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Wegnerowski and Miss Mary Ewald, both of South Bend.
