Brother William Paszek CSC, 71, died Sunday morning in Memorial Hospital after an illness. He was born Oct. 13, 1915 in South Bend. He made his first vows in the Congregation of the Holy Cross on Aug. 16,1962. He is survived by three brothers, Al, Casimer and Fred, all of South Bend; and two sisters, Virginia Przybyliski and Leona Pacala, both of South Bend. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, Burial will be in Holy Cross Community Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moreau Seminary, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Brother Paszek celebrated his 25th anniversary of religious profession last month. During his time in the active ministry he served as a cook at Moreau Seminary, St. Joseph Hall and Christ the King Catholic Church. In 1974 he moved to the Holy Cross House.
