===============

The year of birth shown above is approximate. George's date and place of birth vary in his records: In the 1880 census he was listed as 13 born in Prussia; in the 1900 census, he was listed as 30, born March 1870 in Germany; in 1910, age 40, born in Germany; in 1920 and 1930, ages 48 and 54 respectively, born in New York.

His date and place of death are given in his Indiana death certificate for which his wife Lottie was the informant. She reported that he had been a janitor at Notre Dame. (At the time of the 1920 and 1930 census records of South Bend, he was a woodworker/laborer at an automobile factory.) It was her understanding that he had been born Mar. 24, 1846 in New York to Joseph & Mary (Pilarski) Paszek.
