Mary L. Kuzma, 76, of Battle Creek, passed away on September 1, 2018, at her home, with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 17, 1942, in Coldwater to the late John and Adelia (Doty) Toth. Mary was a graduate of Springport High School. She was a cashier at Cash Connection and worked as an LPN at Lakeview Hospital. Mary was a member of the DAV auxiliary. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, numerous craft projects, gardening and taking care of her beautiful flowers. Mary had the biggest heart for animals of all kinds; always taking in strays and rescues and providing them a home. On June 4, 1966, Mary married the love of her life John Kuzma Sr. at a ceremony in Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John; one great-great grandchild.Mary is survived by her four sons; John Jr. (Kim) Kuzma, Ronald (Angie) Kuzma, David and Michael Kuzma all of Battle Creek, two daughters Lynette Kuzma of Las Vegas, Nevada and Angie Yager of Jackson, Michigan, thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to The Potter’s House Church 226 Capital Ave. NE, Battle Creek, Michigan 49017. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, from 5:30p.m. until 6:30p.m. at The Potter’s House Church with funeral services following at 6:30p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fort Custer Cemetery in Augusta.
