SOUTH BEND - Lillie P. Nowicki, 89, passed away at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2011, in the Milton Home. Lillie was born on July 28, 1921, in South Bend, to the late John and Lillie (Bierwagon) Przybysz. Lillie was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Nowicki, on January 8, 2008. Lillie is survived by her daughters, Susan (Larry) Fuchs and Lillie (Terry) Goralski; son, Irvin (Rose) Nowicki; grandchildren, John, Gary and Michael Nowicki, and Molly Asherman; and several great-grandchildren. Lillie graduated from St. Mary's Academy, class of 1940, and was the owner of Spikes Place Bar. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW #1855. She loved Vegas and casinos. Special "Thank You" to the caregivers at the Milton Home. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today, March 30, 2011, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Funeral Liturgy at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2011, in the funeral home. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
