Joyce M. Janiak, of Mishawaka, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 6, 2022, with her family by her side at the age of 84. Joyce was born on April 8, 1937, in Mishawaka, to the late Frank and Veda (Snyder) Love and lived most of her life in the Michiana area. On February 6, 1960, in South Bend she was united in marriage to Richard G. Janiak, who preceded her in death on February 7, 2021. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Marsha (Duane) Pucket of Mishawaka; son, Michael (Robin) Janiak of North Aurora, IL., daughter in law, Michelle Janiak of Mendota, IL; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy, Tyler, Kyle, Bradley, and Logan Janiak and Monica Ramirez; 5 great-grandchildren, and her brother, James “Dick” Love of Granger. Along with her parents and her husband, Joyce was preceded in death by her son, Mark Janiak. As per her wishes, Joyce will be cremated and there will be a private family service. Palmer Funeral Home - Welsheimer North Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
