Gloria J. Adams, 76, of South Bend, IN, formerly of St. Joseph, MI, passed away at 1:35am on Sunday, September 18, 2022, in Cardinal Nursing & Rehabilitation. Gloria was born on August 11, 1946, in St. Joseph, MI, to the late Earl and Evelyn (Rindfleish) Hidy. Gloria is survived by her son, Brent (Amy) Adams and Erik (Kendrick) Adams; and grandchildren, Chaffin (Paige) Upchurch, and Isaac, William Walton and Sutton Adams. Gloria was employed as a secretary for a few years, before starting her own home daycare. Gloria was known by everyone as an energetic and loving woman. She was the light in every room she walked into and brought smiles to everyone’s faces. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 23, 2022, in Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN, where family and friends may begin gathering at 10:00am. Graveside services and burial will take place at a later date at North Shore Cemetery in Coloma, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 W.
