MISHAWAKA - Cindy passed away on Aug. 19, surrounded by her loving family, at the UNC Hospice Center in Chapel Hill, NC. She was the daughter of the late Jerry Janosik and Evelyn Janosik, who survives. Cindy leaves behind her devoted husband, Mitchel Strobin and children, Alexis, Nicholas, and Samantha Strobin. Also surviving are her brother, Michael Janosik, his wife Nancy and children, David, Kathleen, and Mathew Janosik in Granger, IN. Her sister and best friend, Sandra Janosik survives with husband, Derrick Rowe and children, Danielle and Michael Rowe, in Ringoes, NJ. Cindy earned degrees from Penn High School, Purdue University, and an MBA at UC Berkley. She worked as a contract litigation CPA for Chicago based Peterson Co. before moving to San Francisco where she was employed by the Clairol Corp. Cindy married Mitchel Strobin in 1990 and became a loving mother to 3 wonderful children. The family currently resides in Chapel Hill, NC. Published in South Bend Tribune on Aug. 27, 2017
