SOUTH BEND - Mary M. Goetz , 96, of Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of 30th Street, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the center. Mrs. Goetz was born May 22, 1898, in Knox. On Aug. 5, 1922, in South Bend, as Mary M. Kiefer, she married Hallie P. Goetz . He died Feb. 25, 1961. Surviving are a daughter, Louise Ritter of South Bend; a son, Robert of South Bend; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, north of Lakeville. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the church. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Published in the South Bend Tribune; Sept. 1, 1994.
