Constance J. Koloszar (April 21, 1943 -- Nov. 7, 2004).

Constance J. Koloszar, 61, of Welworth Avenue, South Bend, Ind., passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. She was born on April 21, 1943, to David and Mary (Lowery) Kershner. On June 6, 1964, in South Bend, at Our Lady of Hungary, she married Joseph Koloszar Jr. Constance retired in June 2003 from the University of Notre Dame where she had worked in Student Accounts. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Constance loved to knit. Constance was preceded in death by her father, David Kershner. She is survived by her loving family: mother, Mary Kershner of Roseburg, Ore.; husband of 41 years, Joseph Koloszar Jr. of South Bend; a daughter, Susan (Eric) Wise of Lafayette, Ind.; three sons, J. Paul (Karen) Koloszar of Monroe, Ohio, Jim A. (Theresa) Koloszar of Portland, Ore., and John (MariAnn) Koloszar of Phoenix; two sisters, Linda Gableman of Elkhart, Ind., and Helen Kershner of Roseburg; a brother, Chuck (Connie) Kershner of Roseburg; and nine grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, in Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, in Christ The King Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. In loving memory of Constance, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 535 W. Edison, Unit #6, Mishawaka, IN 46545.

SOUTH BEND -- Constance J. Koloszar, 61, of Welworth Avenue, died Sunday in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center of natural causes. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Jr.; a daughter, Susan Wise of Lafayette, Ind.; three sons, J. Paul of Monroe, Ohio, Jim A. of Portland, Ore., and John of Phoenix; her mother, Mary Kershner of Roseburg, Ore; and a brother, Chuck Kershner of Roseburg. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, where a rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
