Joan was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Michalski; grandsons, Jason Michalski & Mike Coffel; and her daughter-in-law, Laureen Michalski. Joan was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, playing card games, especially Euchre which she would play every weekend if she could, and always reading the newspaper in the morning. She loved her dogs, watching game shows, like Wheel of Fortune, the Andy Griffith show, planting tomatoes and gardening, and also watching the cubs. Joan was also known for her polish sausage. She was one you could always count on; she went out of her way to help anyone she could. Joan also loved talking to her special niece for hours on the phone, Linda Pawelski. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Center for Hospice staff and Doctor Matt for the special care they provided to Joan.
