SOUTH BEND - Joan R. Kazmierzak, 82, died on Monday. On June 22, 1957, in South Bend, Joan married Clifford F. Kazmierzak, who survives, along with a daughter, Doreen (Robert) Arena; grandson, Brandon Gruber; sister, Marlene Yergeau; several step-grand-daughters; several nieces and nephews; and brothers, Thomas & Eugene Wisniewski. Visitation will be from 11 pm to 1 pm on Thursday in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.

SOUTH BEND - Joan R. Kazmierzak, 82, passed away at 9:00 am on Monday, August 20, 2012, in her residence. Joan was born July 13, 1930, in South Bend, to the late William and Pearl (Chodzinski) Wisniewski. On June 22, 1957, in South Bend, Joan married Clifford F. Kazmierzak, who survives along with daughter, Doreen (Robert) Arena of Platekill, NY; grandson, Brandon Gruber of New York; sister, Marlene Yergeau of South Bend; several step-grand- daughters; several nieces and nephews; and brothers, Thomas Wisniewski and Eugene Wisniewski, both of South Bend. Joan was member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; she also was a member of St. John Rosary Society. Joan enjoyed reading, puzzle books, collecting small figurines, watching Notre Dame and Chicago Bears football games with Clifford, and most of all Joan cherished times she spent with her grandson, Brandon. Visitation will be from 11:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 23, 2012, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 23, 2012. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
