SOUTH BEND - Dorothy G. Zmyslo, 92, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, in Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford, IN. Dorothy was born December 6, 1921, in South Bend, to the late Henry and Barbara (Weinkauf) Martin. Dorothy married Stephen F. Zmyslo in South Bend, who preceded her in death on October 17, 2012. Survivors of Dorothy include her children, Carol (Jeff) Powell of Bedford, IN, and Stephen (Patricia) Zmyslo Jr. of Stevensville, MI; brothers, Jim Martin of Walkerton and Henry Martin of North Liberty; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In 1982, Dorothy retired from Telephone Answering Service after 40 years as an office manager. She was a parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Dorothy enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, sewing, crafting, and cooking. Most of all, Dorothy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Dorothy will be 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 1:00 pm.
