SOUTH BEND - Deborah M. Corbett, 58, of South Bend, passed away at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 in her residence after a short illness. Mrs. Corbett was born on November 7, 1950 in South Bend, and resided in the Michiana area her life time. In 2002 in South Bend as Deborah M. Quier, she married James L. Corbett who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Robin Ferch and Kathy Klaudsz, both of South Bend; her mother, Esther A. Gasko of Mishawaka; a stepson, Bobby Corbett of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Quier; a sister, Crystal Klaudsz; and a brother, Jerry Quier. Deborah was a loving mother, wife who cared deeply for her family. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and all who had the opportunity to know her during her life journey. Her request was to be cremated and remembered in life. Her wishes were granted by her family. Their will be no visitation or services and cremation has taken place. The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home located at West Ireland Road/Indiana 23, South Bend, handled arrangements and extend its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Corbett family.
