Mishawaka-Betty Losicki, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Betty was born on July 22, 1927 in Mishawaka to Ambrose and Marie (Maenhout) Verheye. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lawrence Verheye. On January 2, 1982 she married Edward Losicki; he preceded her in on August 25, 2008. Surviving are two daughters, Sandra (Stephen) Saros of Mishawaka and Lori (Joseph) Null of Middlebury; her siblings, Arthur DeLater of New Carlisle, IN, Jeanette Verheye (sister-in-law) of Wakarusa, Marian (Ronald) Truex of Wakarusa, John Loucks of Nappanee, Joan (Junior) Pippenger of Milford, David (Connie) Loucks of Goshen; grandchildren, Amy Saros, Lori Ann (Mark) Stehlin, Lindsey (Ben) Gibson, Abigail (Matt) Garrett, Joshua Null and Kaylie Null; great grandchildren, Bree Gibson, Oliver Gibson and Ava Stehlin. Betty worked for Uniroyal for several years as well as in the kitchen at St. Francis Convent and in the kitchen at Country Side Nursing Home. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 24 from 12 to 2 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m., in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
