MISHAWAKA - Edward Losicki, 81, passed away in his home on Monday, August 25th. Edward was born on March 16, 1927, in South Bend, to Joseph and Frances (Wrobleski) Losicki, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael, and a brother, Raymond. On January 2, 1982, he married Betty Verheye. Surviving are his wife, Betty; a daughter, Katherine (Rex) Charles of Lafayette, IN; stepdaughters, Sandra (Steven) Saros of Mishawaka and Lori (Joseph) Null of Middlebury, IN; and nine grandchildren. Edward worked as an executive housekeeper for 35 years at St. Francis Convent, Mishawaka, until he retired in 1992. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps. Edward was a kind and gentle man. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid Cubs, Bears and Notre Dame fan, always ready to watch a game with someone. Edward was one of a kind. He will truly be missed but not forgotten. Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, August 28th, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., with Rev.
