SOUTH BEND - Evelyn B. Clarmont, 86, passed away peacefully in her home, July 15, 2014. Born January 27, 1928, she was the daughter of the late William and Grace Ponto. She was also preceded in death by five siblings, Donald, Albert, Delores, Aldeen and Alice Ponto. Evelyn is survived by two sons, Wayne (Joyce Ullery) Vida of South Bend and Dane (Sally) Vida of Mishawaka; three grandsons and one granddaughter. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Family was always her top priority. She will be greatly missed. Per Evelyn's request, cremation will take place.
