From the SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE, January 18, 1954: Andrew (Rouble) Wroblewski, Sr., 1138 W. Thomas St., died Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital after an illness of a few days. Born in Bronson, Michigan, October 24, 1880, he came here from that city 65 years ago. On Feb 3, 1904, he was married in St. Hedwige's Catholic Church here to Miss Rose Zytowski, who survives. He was a yardmaster for the New York Central Railroad for 43 years. He retired May 20, 1946. Also surviving are two sons, Andrew V. and John A., and a daughter, Mrs. Mamie Zugulski, all of South Bend; three brothers, Rev John Wroblewski, pastor of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupe; Ike and Stanley, both of South Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Pinkowski and Mrs. Anastasia Marshall, both of South Bend, three grandchildren. Mr. Wroblewski was a member of the Brotherhood of Trainmen, St. Vincent de Paul Society 79, Polish Roman Catholic Union and the League of St. Joseph both of St. Hedwige's Church.
