SOUTH BEND - Raymond Stanley Bogucki, 71, of Loves Park, IL, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010. He was born Sept. 16, 1938, in South Bend, Ind., the son of Stanley and Henrietta (Pietraszewski) Bogucki. He had lived 18 years in the Rockford area, coming here from Denver, Colo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Married Jane Johnson on Feb. 14, 1977, in Colorado. Employed by Hamilton Sunstrand, retiring in 2000. A member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. He was an avid outdoorsman and Minnesota Viking fan. Survivors include wife, Jane; children, Dennis (Cherie) Bogucki of Arizona, Julee (Doug) Krinke of Hampton, Minn., Peter Beyl of Farmington, Minn., Paul (Lynn) Beyl of Minnetonka, Minn., and John Beyl of Belle Plain, Minn.; grandchildren, James, Christopher, Michael, Travis and Audrey; great-granddaughter, Sadie; brother, Thomas (Kathleen) Bogucki of South Bend; niece, Charlene (Randy) Ives of South Bend; and nephews, Fred (Ruth) Bogucki of Osceola, Ind. He was predeceased by his parents. Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3rd, in St. Bridget Catholic Church; Father Jeremy Trowbridge will officiate. Memorial visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2nd, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
