Oct. 12, 1941 - Feb. 8, 2012 SOUTH BEND - Jerome "Jerry" A. Jaworski, 70, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome J. and Veronica B. Jaworski; sister, Dorothy Durski; brother-in-law, Casimir Sobecki; and great-nephew, Jeremiah Sobecki. He is survived by a sister, Angela Sobecki; brother-in-law, Sylvester Durski; nieces and nephews, Michael A. Sobecki, Dale (Paula) Sobecki, Rebecca Nickelson, Russell Sobecki, Pamela (John) Lapkiewicz, Bradley (Karen) Durski, Robert (Tina, deceased) Durski and Scott Durski. He is also survived by 14 great-nephews and nieces, 8 great-great-nephews & nieces, and many friends and family who dearly loved him. Jerome was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. He served in the United States Army and Peace Corps. His body has been donated to science. Services will be held at a later date.
