Helen R. Kapalczynski, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister of Regency Place, South Bend, Ind., passed away Thursday, April 19, at the age of 90. On Feb. 9, 1911, in South Bend, she was born to the union of John and Stella Buczynski. In October 1929, Helen married Julius S. Lubelski in South Bend. He passed away in 1947. They were the parents of three children, Evelyn Lubelski who passed away in 1947. Dolores Ann Lubelski who passed away on Feb. 14, 1999, and Richard J. Lubelski who resides in Mishawaka, Ind. Helen remarried in June, 1949 to John Kapalczynski. He preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1979. They were the parents of Christine (Kapalczynski) Dorsch who resides in Mishawka. Helen is also survived by six grandchildren, Debra Lubelski of Mishawaka, Richard Lubelski of North Liberty, Ind., Denise McKinsey of South Bend, Tara Widman of Mishawaka, John Dorsch and Billy Dorsch, both of South Bend; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Pazek of Chicago, Ill. Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME< 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a prayer services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
