ALEX L. HERNICZ, passed away on Saturday, Feb 16, 2013, in W. Palm Beach, Fla. Alex and his wife Margaret lived in Fort Wayne for many years. They had a great love of music, and met at a WLS talent show in Chicago in 1937. In their later years, they performed as 'Three Jacks and a Queen' in Fort Wayne and after their retirement in the Orlando, Fla. area. Surviving children are sons, Charles (Kathy) Hernicz of Wellington, Fla., Michael Hernicz of Oneida, Tenn., Patrick (Ginny) Hernicz of Knoxville, Tenn., and David (Lorie) Hernicz of Deland, Fla.; daughter, Peggy (Greg) Kilmer of Columbus, N.J.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Margaret; children, Dennis Hernicz (formerly of Debary, Fl.) and Susan Hernicz Mason (formerly of Jacksonville, Fla.). Interment ceremony for Alex, Margaret, Dennis, and Susan is 10 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, in Osceola, Ind.
