Maynard J. Correll, Jr 82, residing on Denslow Drive, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 4:15 pm on Monday, March 2 in Memorial Hospital. Maynard was born to Maynard Sr. And Olga Correll in South Bend, and lived here all his life. He married Theophillia Gladys Zmyslo on Feb 3, 1940. Out of this union, they had three sons who survive: Ronald L Correll, Sr., of Granger, Ind., Maynard R Correll of Roanoke, VA; , and Dennis R. Correll St. of Mishawaka, Indiana. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters; Caroline Sheets of Osceoa, IND, Betty Ware and Shirely Horn, both of Prescott, AZ; and by two brothers: Ward Correll of elkhart IND, and Robert Correll of St. James City, FL. Mr Correll was a retired employee of the Bendix Corp., where he served as plant manager following 42 years of service. He was a member of Moose Lodge 599 in Elkhart, and Mishawaka Masonic Lodge 130. There will be no services or visitation; Upon his death, his remains were cremated. Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Benbd is handling arrangements for Mr Correll.
