South Bend - Jack Michael Luczkowski, 51, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He fought a courageous battle with cancer all the way to the end, never giving up hope that he could conquer it. Jack was born May 13, 1968 in South Bend to Ervin & Rita (Babicz) Luczkowski. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Mary Luczkowski. Survivors of Jack include his daughter, Amanda Luczkowski; granddaughter, Meadow Duchateau; sister, Peggy (Tom) Mossman; brothers, Jim (Sharon) Luczkowski, Tim Luczkowski, Dan Luczkowski; girlfriend, Teresa Minzghor; and dear nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jack was a very kind giving person with a good heart. He didn't have much, but if anyone was in need of help, he was there giving whatever he could. Jack always loved life and had a laugh you cannot forget. Many of his friends called him "Happy Jack". He will forever be in our thoughts and hearts; and he will be greatly missed by so many. A private family service will be held. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all the great people at the Center for Hospice Care.
