On Aug. 7, 1915, Rev. Chas. V. Fisher, pastor of Sacred Heart Independent Hungarian Catholic Church in South Bend, Indiana, married Bertha Buysse and Steve Barzo. According to the marriage applications they filed with the county, Bertha, a seamstress in South Bend, was born Jan. 1, 1896 in South Bend to August & "Matilda" Van De Veire Buysse, and Steve, a mechanic in South Bend, was born Jan 1, 1870 in Hungary to Alexander & Eva Bognar Barzo.
