On May 30, 1906, in South Bend, Indiana, Casimir Alszewski, a Catholic priest, married Bronislawa Gluch and Francis Krakowski.-image of original record, familysearch.org
Bronislawa was known as Bertha. At the time of the 1910 census, Frank J. & Bertha Krakowski and their daughter Helen were living in South Omaha, Nebraska where Frank worked in a packing house. By 1911, they were back in South Bend. When Frank registered for the WWI draft, his work was hot blasting at the Studebaker Corporation. By 1930, Frank's and Bertha's family included six children: (in birth order) Helen 22, Edmund 19, Frank Jr. 16, Irene 11, Virginia 7, and Richard 5. In 1930, Frank was a machinist in an aviation factory, and in 1940, he was tool and die maker with a car brake manufacturing company. When he registered for the WWII draft, he listed his occupation as "Bendix experimental". In 1955, Frank Joseph Krakowski died in Sonoma County, California.
