MISHAWAKA - Elaine A. Holtsclaw, 91, passed away August 5, 2016, in the Golden Living Center. Elaine was born January 25, 1925, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Anna (Prusinski) Ewald. Survivors of Elaine include her daughters, Kathy (Bob) Littlejohn & Tina (Don) Fiedler; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Ewald; a niece and 2 nephews. Elaine enjoyed game shows, yard sales and walking. She was very close to her brother; they talked daily. Spending time with her grandchildren and family was most important to her. A Funeral Ceremony for Elaine will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a 1 hour visitation prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help assist with funeral expenses. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net. Published in South Bend Tribune on Aug. 7, 2016
