May 4, 1916 -- Dec. 5, 2004

Regina Wisniewski, 88, of West Dunham Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 4:37 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, in Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 4, 1916, in South Bend, to Kasper and Josephine Kujawski, who preceded her in death, along with a son, Irvin in 1980. On Nov. 29, 1933, Regina married Casimer, who passed away Sept. 30, 1983.

Regina is survived by two daughters, Dolly Bowling and Rita King, both of South Bend; four grandchildren, Michael Bowling, Debbie (Dion) Manee, Linda Hagen and Danny Wisniewski; and by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was a member of St. Mary's Polish National Church and the Holy Rosary Society. Her friends called her "Momma Rita." She enjoyed making necklaces.

The family has requested private services.

The St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, is handling arrangements.
