SOUTH BEND - Edward M. Krol, 93, passed away at 10:50 am on Thursday, December 6, 2012, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Edward M. Krol was born September 24, 1919, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Adamina (Palicki) Krol. Edward was also preceded in death by a sister, Celia Malinowski. On September 14, 1946, Edward married Wanda (Wentland), who survives along with sons, Jim Krol of South Bend and Mark Krol of Stormville, New York. Edward honorably served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He loved the outdoors and tending to his garden and flowers. He worked in the maintenance department at Associates, was an avid record keeper, and was a workaholic. Family and friends may gather at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. ST.
